It would appear that modern bulk emailers are being incorporated with 'web spiders' capable of automatically searching web sites for the existence of valid email addresses. Lists of addresses on web pages are obvious targets.
We certainly would not wish to be the unwitting catalyst providing these unscrupulous 'spammers' the opportunity to 'unload' their unsolicited material. We are taking a number of technical measures to discourage opportunists. Additionally, as a safeguard, we have removed all direct email addresses from this website. All email addresses on this site are now directed via our website email address so that spam can be filtered out, without this burden being placed on our members. Genuine messages will be forwarded to members, albeit with a short delay. We regret that these measures have had to be introduced, but feel that our members should not suffer as a result of supporting us.
Similarly, we regret having to remove hotlinks to email addresses, but as these were being used as the target for 1000's of SPAM emails per day, we have reluctantly removed them. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
